Refund policy

At ScentStore.lk, we want to ensure you are satisfied with your fragrance purchase. Please note our specific policy regarding returns and exchanges to help us serve you better.

1. Returns for Defective Products

Per our store policy, we accept returns only for defective products.

  • Window: You have 10 days after receiving your item to request a return if it is found to be defective.

  • Condition: To be eligible, the item must be in the same condition that you received it, unused, with tags, and in its original packaging. You’ll also need the receipt or proof of purchase.

2. Damages and Issues

Please inspect your order upon reception. Contact us immediately at diz.scentstore@gmail.com if:

  • The item is defective or damaged.

  • You receive the wrong item. We will evaluate the issue and make it right immediately.

3. Exchanges

We accept exchanges to ensure you get the scent you love.

  • Process: The fastest way to ensure you get what you want is to return the defective item you have. Once the return is accepted, you can make a separate purchase for the new item.

4. Non-Returnable Items

Please note that certain items cannot be returned due to hygiene and safety reasons:

  • Personal Care: Beauty and fragrance products that have been opened or used.

  • Hazardous Materials: Flammable liquids or gases.

  • Special Items: Custom products, personalized items, sale items, and gift cards.

5. How to Start a Return

To start a return, you must contact us at diz.scentstore@gmail.com.

  • Shipping Address: Returns must be sent to: 01, Kottapitiya, Bangadeniya, Chilaw, Sri Lanka.

  • Instructions: If your return is accepted, we will send you a return shipping label and instructions. Items sent back to us without first requesting a return will not be accepted.

6. Refunds

Once we receive and inspect your return, we will notify you of the approval status.

  • Approval: If approved, you’ll be automatically refunded on your original payment method within 10 business days.

  • Processing: Please note that banks or credit card companies may take additional time to post the refund.

  • Support: If more than 15 business days have passed since approval, please contact us at diz.scentstore@gmail.com.
